‘Word Creation in Goldfields Languages’ is a new paper by Jackie Coffin and Sue Hanson, June 2022, based on research on 3 languages of the region.
This paper documents a study into the processes used by 3 Goldfields Aboriginal languages to create new words in the language.
Understanding this process will assist language speakers to create new words where they have been lost due to linguicide.
