Growing Up in the Desert

This DVD is a video recording of an ancient method of storytelling, and a first-hand account of life in the Great Sandy Desert before contact with white people. The stories were recorded in the bed of the Fitzroy River in 1989 – 1990. They are told in Walmajarri with English subtitles.
