The Goldfields Aboriginal Language Centre Abor. Corp. was awarded funding for a four wheel drive vehicle.
The vehicle is badly needed for staff to undertake field work with speakers and visit remote communities.
The vehicle will enable elders to travel to remote locations to record stories, songs and films about culture and the early days.
