DESCRIPTION:Creating a Culturally Safe Organisation training \n\n\n\n‘Creating a Culturally Safe Organisation’ is aimed at managers\, senior staff\, CEOs\, directors\, committee members\, and people who are advanced in their cultural awareness and cultural competency. booking form click here\n\n\n\nThe 2-hour course provides a framework for organisations\, services and departments to create a culturally safe organisation for First Nations peoples.\n\n\nThis course addresses ways to ensure First Nations staff and clients do not have their cultural identify assaulted when using a service or working in it\, and in fact feel empowered\, build resilience and capability.\n\n\n\nCourse numbers are limited to 10 places. Materials provided include a manual and a USB with a powerpoint presentation to prompt discussion back in the workplace or service\, and draft policies to modify for your organisation.\n\nYou don’t need to bring anything\, everything supplied. DESCRIPTION:Cultural Competency Training Feb 2023 \nThis training course provides participants with an introduction to traditional Aboriginal culture\, history and world view. It also covers contemporary life\, social matters and theories and frameworks for working effectively in a culturally competent way. The final section of the course looks at the skills\, attitudes and knowledge that a culturally competent person and organisation would exhibit. The course is very full with discussion\, games and films.\n\nCost includes the CCT manual\, all course material\, morning tea and lunch. $220 per person inc GST.
